GOTODB002: Crimson Drums

A collection of kicks, snares, hi-hats, toms and more generated by the classic Nord Lead virtual analogue synthesizer - 134 samples presented in four different stereo / mono variants, all in both 88.2 kHz, 24-bit and 44.1kHz, 16-bit packages.

All materials are presented royalty free for use in your music (and more).

Please do not re-sell these materials and/or altered versions of them.

The patches from which these samples were taken were originally played in the Nord Rack's "Unison" mode. This gives the original stereo samples a lot of width, and this is why there are four different versions:

• The Stereo samples are presented as the synthesizer was captured.
• The Left and Right samples are single channel "splits" of the Stereo samples.
• The Mono Sum samples are the Stereo samples mixed together.

Note that, for some patches, the phase differences between the left and right channels were quite drastic. This means that the Mono Sum samples can be wildly different to their Stereo, Left and Right counterparts.

Also note that some samples at 88.2kHz have high level components beyond 20kHz. Be careful of your tweeters if playing back loudly! Get the most out of these samples by changing playback speed/pitch.
